Are there standards for the number of toilets on an aircraft to numbers of passengers?

It depends on the configuration and make of aircraft.
First class passengers are only about 20ish and have 4-6 toilets
Business class about 100-150 passengers and almost about 6 toilets also
Economy class about 250 passengers and almost 6 toilets also

But as I said all airlines and aircrafts vary

NO. Th aircraft is designed to cater for a few people who have poor excretory processes. By standards, it is assumed that a normal wo/man in the aircraft can sustain and remain confortable without going to answer the call of nature. So, there is no need to put toilets everywhere. The nerves that keep urine and feaces in can stay up to more that 24hrs. So really, the planes are not designed to cater for too many pple going to the toilet, only but just a few, TA.

yes, for american built aircraft the number of toilets are laid down in federal aviation regulations, for european aircraft the numbers are laid down in joint airworthiness requirements.you can veiw both sets of regulations on the web.
