Help and fire. Just because if you ever lost them it would be funny to see you shouting for them.
If not then name then after inanimate objects like glovebox, book or coupon and voucher.

It would be good for the children to name them themselves. Even the 3 year old could possibly think up some names. Get them to start writing them down - well the older one can - and see what they come up with. Names from their favourite books or tv programmes are a starting point. Don't just TELL them what the g/pigs are to be called, let them CHOOSE. One name each! and be prepared for some peculiar names. My youngest once called a hamster (when she was 5 years old) ET Phonehome. I kid you not!

You could choose names from some of my dearly departed guinea pigs of the past....
Ripley
Annie
Timothy (like the hay... Timmy as a nickname.)
Larry
Nigel
Xander
and my two living guinea pigs are Charlie and Franklin.
Sometimes you have to wait to see what kind of name fits their personality. Most of my pets have started with one name and then we change soon after! Good luck with the pigs! I hope you and your kids have fun!

I've named my three after Star Trek references. My male is Spock. My two females are Tribbles and Warp Drive. Warp Drive has babies on the way so I may name some of her litter after the original Enterprise crew. Who knows.. maybe Spock's new Room mate will be 'Voyager'!

Well seeing how you didn't say whether they were male or female, smooth coat or abyssinian (long hair that sticks up all over), or what color they are. I am going to suggest
Honey and Squeeker
Mini and Mo
Ziggy and Shoe
Giggles and Chum
Raz and Taz
Peaches and Buff
Pickles and Pepper
Ram and Rin
DoDo and Gummy
That's about all I could think of for unknown sex.

Bill & Ben
(Fireman) Sam & Bob (the Builder)
Rhubarb & Custard
Harry & Hermione
Weasley & Potter
Though to be honest, I'd just ask the children, any names that they come up with are bound to be wonderful ... & they've one each to name.
