I will concede the Republican scandal regarding Foley was bad and will be worse if a cover-up actually occured. I say if because I believe in innocent until proved guilty and am willing to wait for the completion of the investigation before passing final judgement. However, liberals aren't and have tried to smear all Republicans with the same brush even though most Republicans have condemned Foley and will demand resignations of others if there was a cover-up.
Now we have a scandal involving ethics violations by Harry Reid and not a word from liberals. If is mentioned they ignore it and fallback on attacking Republicans for Foley and other scandals. The fact that this is a hypocrisy doesn't phase them a bit and this behavior is not new. Anytime a liberal is caught in something bad it is ignored by the left, passed off as minor and overblown, or labeled a Republican attack strategy. Am I wrong on this question? If so post a well thought out answer of why.

my sil is an addict, we've tried to help, she's not ready. she just got out of jail and moved back into her parents where her kids live (they have custody) since being home she has stolen from her parents and kids, she's brought the kids with her when she's gone to buy drugs, and on more than three occassions drug dealers have shown up at the house at 2-3 in the morning wanting money she has owed them. my in laws are too old to deal with this, but nobody wants to kick her out. dcf gave the grandparents custody bc of her drug problem 2 yrs ago, but if she ever used and lived there they would take the kids away, or to other family membs. my in laws deny the problem, but i feel the kids are in danger. i have a knot in my stomach everyday over what to do, it isn't right to have them in danger, but how do i turn in family? please help, i have no idea what to do.

I have many questions about islam, entirely too many to ask on the yahoo website...i've been doing a lot of research but there are just some questions i have that books and the internet can not answer, and i don't know of any practicing muslims (my family and friends are of the Christian faith). Of late i've been contemplating converting but because of my Christian upbringing and most of the people i am around im alone as far as gaining wisdom...the only place of worship that I am aware of here is a NOI (nation of islam) place of worship and im not interested in the particular sect. If someone could help i would really appreciate it.

THIS FAT WOMAN I HAVE THE DISPLEASURE OF WORKING WITH ALWAYS FLOPS DOWN INTO HER DESK CHAIR. I GUESS WALKING THE 15 FEET FROM HER DESK TO THE PRINTER IS TOO MUCH WORK. my period is due around this time but since my last months periods i have had 2 other periods and this neva usually happens to me. My dog was sprinting around in the woods, and when she came back limping I looked at her paw. It looks like the tendon holding her toe to the rest of the paw has been mostly sliced through. Now that toe sticks out more than the rest, and the claw on that one points out and a little upward, while the rest of the claws point downward toward the ground. It's been about a week - at first I thought it was just a cut. She licks it all the time. Will this be a permanent injury? Is there anything I can do? She seems to be taking good care of it herself - should I take her in? From what I've heard about tendon injuries in people it seems like there's usually not much one can do. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
