Mav seems to be suffering from an acute computer induced nauseating episode; I recommend simply relaxing in silence for the constant singing to finally drive you to the deep, deep edge. Or turning on, a radio/tv/mp3 player to something uplifting and replace these songs with an other more appropriate tune. Hopefully something that inspires…. I pray that Mav fully recovers from this and doesn't need further treatment ! LOL! This reply was totally implied for smile and may your day be blessed!

Perhaps, but what is the spirit of their sharing . . . is it "I, I, I, I" or is it "this was a neat experience and this is the blessing I received from helping"? Well, Mav, next time your Christian friends start talking of their good deeds--stop them. Say, help me out . . . are you sharing because you want me to know what you have done or are you sharing because you feel so blessed and you feel you gained something through helping this person? If the answer is the first, then ask, why do you want me to know this? If it is due to how they ended up just as blessed as the person they helped . . . cut to the chase . . . I understand you did this, but tell me how you were blessed since that is really what you are trying to share. Bring the conversation to a point by saying, isn't amazing how when you try to give to others you are often the one who is blessed through the opportunity to serve . . . I bet you get, I knew you would understand back.
