You REALLY need to take this question to an online Adobe Photoshop support site for Forum. You'll get better results. No one here will be able to walk you step-by-step thru the process of learnign the features of Adobe PS.
Search the net..there are tons of them out there.
Adobe PS is a very difficult program to learn...and it sounds like you are wanting to jump right in and start doing animations..good luck with that.

I would suggest going to the book store and picking up one or two books either:
Visual quick start which works more like a FAQ but has great answers.
Classroom in a book these are books that typically trade schools will use to teach students. They do the job for entry level designers.
Photoshop like everything else takes time to master. I think my teacher said it best when he said, "I've used this program for over five years and I still haven't used all the tools."
Do not expect to master photoshop because it will never happen. Those who think they are masters are people who tend to use the plug ins but photoshop is much deeper than that!

photoshop has all kinds of bells & whistles that make it hard to learn to use. software probably came with some kind of tutorial but, best bet is to look for a class (community colleges are good places to check). GOOD LUCK!

You can buy two dvd roms for the program beginners and advanced. My mate has just loaned them to me but Iv not viewed them yet.
