Since MOST coaches are willing to accept a "measly" 40% from the 3-point line, I'd advise you to settle for that. But, since you ARE looking for improvement, get four "racks" of basketballs with 10 basketballs to a rack and place one on each baseline arc and one at the each free-throw line extended outside the "three"; (you'll also need a clock for this) put about 25 minutes on the clock to begin, and shoot all four "racks" inside that 25 minutes. On each succeeding rotation, lower the time. Compare your overall percentages each time you finish a rotation. Gradually lower the time for all rotations until you achieve the absolute minimum time required to shoot 100% for a rotation.

I'm going to pretend you meant to say 70% from the free throw line and not the 3point line. 70% from 3point range is unheard of. If you want to shoot better from the free throw line, all you have to do is practice, simple as that. shoot the ball at least 200 times from the line everyday and you'll be straight.

Not that I doubt you, but 70% is just ridiculous! Most NBAers shoot less than 35%... and that's under gaming conditions. All I've got to say is whatever regimen or routine you got going stick with it and maybe just extend your practice time. Wow! How can I shoot 70% from 3-point range? I should be asking for help from you.

this is impossible under game conditions. there is no way unless ur shooting like 3 3's a game. If this is practictin its not that bad, get an oversized basketball like the other guy said. also work with ur friends in a game style condition, it'll get u ready

You did not! If you shot 70%, under game conditions, I'd like to know your name so I can be looking for you at Duke or Kentucky next year.

go to a sporting goods store and get a oversized basketball they sell them for that reason that will help you focus on getting the ball in so when you use the regular ball it will be easier
