About 5 or 6 months ago, I went to the dentist because my gums had started bleeding. As I brush my teeth twice a day and always at least rinse with water, I was just told to brush my gums more, or floss or use mouthwash. The symptoms went away, but now the bleeding is back (mainly when I floss) and 2 days ago I noticed my gum in between my two front teeth had swelled and was slightly red. Since yesterday, I have noticed another area of gum swelling and thin redness around about 3 or 4 more teeth. I don't understand as it has all happened so quick. I am worried. If it is only Gingivitis then what stage does it sound like? Also, my dentist appointment is 5 days away. I have went to get Corsodyl mouthwash to try and last me until then and have just started my first treatment. I can make an emergency appointment, but I don't know how necessary and appropriate it would be as I don't really know how bad it is...any advice?

1. Why is it that life--or the ingredients of life perfect balance of gases, water, etc--are found only on earth? Why not on the moon, on Mars, or any other planet?

2. If Evolution is true, then Scientists should have found a rat faced gorilla eating his unevolved banana under the sea. This is perfect adaptation--to avoid competition from dinasaurs?

3. If I put all gases together, plus water, etc inside a tunnel and explode the mixture w/ powerful dynamite will the process create life, or will the mixture be scattered over the tunnel?

There are these two twin old men that go into the same bar everyday. The bartender at the bar hates one of the twins, but the only way he could tell the difference between the one he hates and the one he likes is because the one that he hates drinks very slow, but the one that he likes drinks fast. So one day the bartender decides to kill the one that he hates. So when they came in that day he put the same amount of the drink in their cups, the same amount of ice, and the same amount of poison. of the most surreal and strange asjustments in your life.
at age 21 i was still in college and active within a fraternity, going out several nights a week and being generally a wild, college kid. from there, you transition to the work force and then graduate school. things continue to change and next thing you know you are married with kids. do many people sit there in their early 30s and just cant figure out "what the heck happened to my 20's?"
you sort of try and trace back how the time went by and what happened when and it just feels surreal. i cant imagine the transition from 30s to 40s would be nearly as surreal. how do others feel about this?

Could someone please help me with this? I keep having trouble when there is a variable on both sides.
I get as far as this
(x + 3)log(10) = (2x)log(6)
xlog(10) + 3log(10) = 2xlog(6) Can't get rid of 2x
