Our insurance, Anthem, will not cover anything because our maternity ryder had not matured by the date of conception. We missed it by 3 weeks. Any advise on inexpensive non-insured childbirth?

I just made payments to my Dr and the hospital.
Hospitals do have clinics that will charge a flat rate for prenatal care, labor and delivery.
All I can tell you is get on the phone and call around.

Good luck!!

Check with your states medicaid program. Some states have insurances that cover during situations like this. My state it actually falls under the COBRA act.

In NY State there's a program called PCAP Prenatal Care Assistance Program. You should find out if your state has something similiar to that. Good luck.

I like to throw this in conversation every once in a while. Spice things up a bit...keep it real you know. It really helps people understand exactly how you feel about whatever you are calling tubular. I mean, really, sometimes cool just dont cut it.

oh, that sucks! if all else fails, you could try and get medicaid or CHIP since your insurance company denied you. call your local health & human services department.

How awful!!! I have no idea. I would really see if your doctor could say you were earlier than you thought!! I know it's a lie, but gosh, you're soooooo close and it's soooooo expensive!
