She smokes about 3 times a day and is 18, I enjoy everything about her except this nasty habbit. She dosent want to stop smokeing, If there anyways i can presade her to stop? Or should I Look for someone else? WEebeen together for 6 months

One evening, after attending the theater, two gentlemen were walking down the avenue when they observed a rather well dressed and attractive young lady walking ahead of them. One of them turned to the other and remarked, "I'd give $250 to spend the night with that woman."


Much to their surprise, the young lady overheard the remark, turned around, and said, "I'll take you up on that offer."


She had a neat appearance and a pleasant voice, so after bidding his companion good night, the man accompanied the young lady to her apartment.


The following morning the man presented her with $125 as he prepared to leave.


She demanded the rest of the money, stating "If you don't give me the other $125, I'll sue you for it."


He laughed, saying, "I'd like to see you get it on these grounds."


Within a few days, he was surprised when he received a summons ordering his presence in court as a defendant in a lawsuit. He hurried to his lawyer and explained the details of the case.


His lawyer said, "She can't possibly get a judgment against you on such grounds, but it will be interesting to see how her case will be presented."


After the usual preliminaries, the lady's lawyer addressed the court as follows: "Your honor, my client, this lady, is the owner of a piece of property, a garden spot, surrounded by a profuse growth of shrubbery, which property she agreed to rent to the defendant for a specified length of time for the sum of $250. The defendant took possession of the property, used it extensively for the purposes for which it was rented, but upon evacuating the premises, he paid only $125, one-half of the amount agreed upon. The rent was not excessive, since it is restricted property, and we ask judgment be granted against the defendant to assure payment of the balance."


The defendant's lawyer was impressed and amused by the way his opponent had presented the case. His defense therefore was somewhat different from the way he originally planned to present it. "Your honor," he said, "my client agrees that the lady has a fine piece of property, which he did rent such property for a time, and a degree of pleasure was derived from the transaction. However, my client found a well on the property around which he placed his own stones, sunk a shaft, and erected a pump, all labor performed personally by him. We claim these improvements to the property were sufficient to offset the unpaid amount, and that the plaintiff was adequately compensated for the rental of said property. We, therefore, ask that judgment not be granted."


The young lady's lawyer answered, "Your honor, my client agrees that the defendant did find a well on her property. However, had the defendant not known that the well existed; he would never have rented the property. Also, upon evacuating the premises, the defendant removed the stones, pulled out the shaft, and took the pump with him. In doing so, he not only dragged the equipment through the shrubbery, but left the hole much larger than it was prior to his occupancy, making the property much less desirable to others. We, therefore, ask that judgment be granted."


In the Judge's decision, he provided for two options: "Pay the $125 or have the equipment detached from its current location and provide it to the plaintiff for damages."


The defendant immediately wrote a check.

Since August, my laptop has been picking up a virus everytime I insert the wireless broadband card. This is my first time encountering this and wonder if there could be a problem with the card or if there is some kind of latent virus on the laptop that is "provoked" when the card is inserted. The laptop works fine without the card.

I am 9 months (37 weeks) along with baby #3, (Yes, You'd think by now, I'd have this all down pat)..Anyway, My question is, I haven't started to lose any of my mucous plug yet ( I don't think) However, I have (for the past week) felt more of a 'slimey' feeling 'down there'.. It's so bad, That I make trips to the bathroom JUST to wipe..And sometimes, When I wipe, I get a white'ish glob of junk on the TP...Is that my mucous plug?? With my other two, It was always yellow/brown'ish....?? Any answers would be GREATLY appreciated!

Tupac was a great writer of lyrics. However, have you ever heard of rappers like Common, KRS-One, Gza from the Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie, Rakim, Souls of Mischief, Tha Alkaholiks, Xzibit, Tribe Called Quest, Redman, Busta Rhymes, Method Man. I think all of these guys were better rappers than Tupac. Why because they had wordplay out the butt! Yes, wordplay is what makes a rapper really great. Common's Ressurrection Album. Tupac could never come off lyrically like that. Tupac would lose to a lot of these guys in freestyle battles. I never heard anybody say, "You know how Tupac dropped metaphors and similies like that." Nope. Tupac was just the most famous. Most famous doesn't make you the best! He stirred a lot more controversy and was willing to kill anybody, that don't make him a great rapper. Great rappers are the ones I listed above. Wordplay! Next time you listen to 2Pac, listen for some wordplay. You won't find none. Play with the rhymes a bit! Show some creativity! 2Pac wasn't the best

My ex-boyfriend and I have been on and off for about 3 months now because we were argueing alot and in those 3 months I met someone new and went out a few times with him and he is the complete opposite of my ex, he treats me like gold and wants to take it to the next level, but I was truely in love with my ex and he kept telling me he used to love me intensley but now because we have been fighting so much he wants to take it slow and he has been saying "take it slow" for the last2 months and it seems like he is using me to come over every now and then and doesnt want the relationship anymore, so I kept seeing the other guy, I am just really confused!! I ended the relationship with my ex 3 days ago and he hasnt called or nothing and I am trying to persue this new guy who is awsome but my heart is still with my ex! even though he treated me badly! what should I do!!!

ps- the reason I ended it completely with my ex is he was calling me a ***** behind my back to family relatives.

Suppose a girl is attacking a guy and he can't get away, and when he tried to restrain her, she stepped on his toes, bit him, kneed him in the balls, etc. If he punches her in the face to stun her so he can get away, should he go to jail for hitting a girl? that mma is the best style of martial art. it is a competion and not a style e.g ufc, pride ,k1
and everyone keeps slagging of disciplines that they dont do or have no information about.

We have nasty water and would like to invest in a water softener. We are a small family (just mom, dad, and baby boy). Any recommendations on a water softener? I was thinking about buying it at Lowe's and having them install it... I wonder how much installation would be? Thanks for the advice!

I work with my best friend. Well, today she left for a few minutes & the office fax machine stopped working. I worked for about an hour on it; couldn't get it to work. So I turned it off & called our main office & asked them to send a replacement. Here she comes in does EXACTLY the same thing I done. And tells me what's wrong with it after I tried to explain to her what was wrong with it and she cut me off before I could finish. She made me feel smaller than a piss ant. And something else..I am only supposed to work 40-45 hours per week. I have been workking 50-60 hours per week but can't claim them. And she can work 45-50 hours per week. But she MIGHT work 28 hours per week & gets paid for 50. She can take a day off when she wants to but I can't. How do I approach her? I don't want to lose her as a friend but I am sick of being used at work and am sick of be belittled. Any suggestions??
