I'm in a similiar situation, so I hear your complain and I understand completely. However, I think you're going about it the wrong way. You need to sit her down and talk to her about it.

Don't tell her it bothers you, that'll just upset her. Tell her you're worried about her health. That will get you much further as well as make her respect you and the relationship just a little bit more.

I've got a good one 4ya, grab a few of her cigarettes and remove half of the the tobacco in each of the smokes. Now you will need to find red pepper packets like the ones the pizza delivery guy brings over,.empty the contents of one packet out and gather the seeds, and deposit them into the cigarettes then repack the tobacco, and voila youre done. If that won't make her go cold turkey nothing will.

now it is really a serious thing to think and as a well wisher of your girl friend ,your first duty towards her is to tell her all disadvantages of smoking like it not only spoils her health but also damages her image in the society. if still she does not leave it you can do one thing that you ask her to have a bet with you.if she agrees call her and get her some 3 to 4 packets of cigarettes and ask her to smoke continuously if she does it the next day on wards she will dislike smoking surely. still if continues than you can think of leaving her.

I don't think that you should let something like smoking get in the way of your relationship with your girlfriend. You shouldn't try to change somebody just to make them who you want them to be, if you like her as much as what you say/think you do then you will learn to cope with the fact that she smokes, but at the same time I think that if she loves you as much as you want her too then she should love you enough to realize that her smokeing can cause both of you health problems and she should love you enough to quit.

You can't. She will quit when she is ready. Nagging her will only cause resentment. If you can't handle it, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Does she know you are this serious about it, that you are willing to break up with her over it?? If not, make sure she is aware. If so, then just tell her you can't deal with it and want to move on. Good luck!

Before you're together you know she smokes therefore bear it. If not tell her the truth and help her. But it not easy especially when she sees another smoke. The urge will come now and then.

Being an x-smoker myself I can tell you that she has to want to stop on her own. But remind her constantly that you hate it and if she cares enough she will at least stop smoking around you. And then maybe for good.

Was she smoking when you had your frist meeting? She said she didn`t want to stop.Well if she doesn`t want to stop she won`t not untill shes ready. What`s more important to you the smoking or her? I bet there is something you do that she dosen`t like.Should she do the same?

She will stop when she is ready and not a moment sooner. The question is can YOU deal with it.

Don't worry about "should I look for someone else" the question is do you want to be with your girlfriend or not?
