I work with my best friend. Well, today she left for a few minutes & the office fax machine stopped working. I worked for about an hour on it; couldn't get it to work. So I turned it off & called our main office & asked them to send a replacement. Here she comes in does EXACTLY the same thing I done. And tells me what's wrong with it after I tried to explain to her what was wrong with it and she cut me off before I could finish. She made me feel smaller than a piss ant. And something else..I am only supposed to work 40-45 hours per week. I have been workking 50-60 hours per week but can't claim them. And she can work 45-50 hours per week. But she MIGHT work 28 hours per week & gets paid for 50. She can take a day off when she wants to but I can't. How do I approach her? I don't want to lose her as a friend but I am sick of being used at work and am sick of be belittled. Any suggestions??

As a Manager of large Corp I would say ...there is something on my mind and it is business not Personal You are my best friend and i am not feeling good about the way we work together and I thought that maybe we could talk and come to terms with how I am feeling...and if that does not work..take it to your supervisor and explain everything honestly and also that you tried to reason with her and it has not changed then maybe have a meeting with he your supervisor (s). Good luck and make sure when you are speaking to her that you do not use ...you did this or you did that try to make it sound as if you are not blaming her for everything cause she will get very defensive and then your friendship will be in danger.

you ought to deferentially say it to the govt.. reason if someone unearths out and tell the govtfirst than you the govtwould be mad with the staff. And the costumer if she unearths out will say that it replaced into each and every of the staff fault...and it will be on the community information! :(

thats tough because no matter what you do its gonna come back at you somehow!
The best thing to do is be as honest and non-judgemental as possible and hope your friendship is a strong one!
