Suppose a girl is attacking a guy and he can't get away, and when he tried to restrain her, she stepped on his toes, bit him, kneed him in the balls, etc. If he punches her in the face to stun her so he can get away, should he go to jail for hitting a girl? If so, for how long? Should other men beat him up because he hit a girl? Should the girl go to jail for attacking the guy? If so, for how long?

Whether the guy could get away or not. It's self defense and you do what you need to do to protect yourself regardless if it's a beatdown being given by a girl or by a guy.

If a girl is attacking a guy, I think the guy has the right to hit her to make her stop - but only hard enough to get her to stop. I think he should be able to just push her down and then remove himself from the situation - call the police on her if need be. You can't overdue it. You can't beat up a girl because she was hitting you.. And no, guys should not beat the guy up for self defense. The trouble the guy might have is proving it was self defense, but if he can, no, he should not go to jail.

i really hate the theory that a guy should not hit a girl. Don't get me wrong, i never hit girls, but if a girl is attacking me, i'm not going to just stand there and let her attack me. I will fight back. The guy should not get any form of punnishment because he is defending himself. The girl should go to jail and get a fine. As long as she doesn't really hurt him, she should not be in jail for long but she uses any form of weapon, then she should get 5 years in prison.

no, he should not go to jail for protecting himself, however, i do not understand why he would not be able to get away. and when he does get away he should stay away. and yes if a girl hits a guy she should be given the same punishment as the man would receive. people need to learn to keep their hands to themselves, i do not believe in violence against men or women. it is all wrong, if the person you are with is making you so angry you need to re-evaluate why you are in this relationship and probably seek some counseling and anger management classes if unable to control ones anger. no one should be hitting anyone else. It would be self defense but hard to prove is he has no scars. No he shouldn't go to jail for defending his-self. Yes she should go because if the shoe where on the other foot he would be in jail no questions asked.

If she's attacking him then only she should go to jail. Length of sentence should be decided only by the judge. But in my opinion it would really depend on the severity of the crime.

Actually it's considered self defense...but because of the fact that it was a woman doing the attacking, you'lll catch the blame for it, she may do 72 hours in lock up but the guy would probably end up in prison for felonious assult
