I dont know if its the software or hardware. I believe its the hardware just from whats going on. Ok, heres the problems.
I cant burn dvds. But about an hour ago I was. Im trying to burn data dvds so I can reformat. I bought new dvds, and when I put them in, the burner says they are corrupt. So after throwing a couple, I realized its not the dvds. I loaded Windows media player, and its says theres no dvd burner installed. And Cheetah DVD burner is installed. I looked at the drivers, and it said everything was working. Theres no errors or anything.
Now what makes me think its the hardware is, if I put a dvd in, it does 1 of 2 things. Either the dvd pops out right after I hit burn, (Like 15sec), or, it just stays in and I have to manually pull it out. And for a short time, (May have been my firewall), but the drive would pop out without a dvd. So how do I fix this?
(I put this under software because I thought it sounded more like software, but hardware isnt ruled out)
