maybe not her voice but the lyrics in her songs are very strong and emotional

Yes!
I've had her albums for years (in Spanish) and she's as good, if not better, as a singer as she is at being "a hottie booty shakin dancer!"
(although she is simply excellent at BOTH.....)

Her voice is kind of weird. I don't think it's amazing. It's better than some, though.
