We're in our late 20's....he thinks I'm uptight and difficult because I don't want to spend the night with him when his parents are staying the weekend....to me this is disrespectful and creepy....he swears his parents won't care.....is it as weird as I think?

No. You are not being uptight. He should be more understanding of what you are trying to say...

Tell him he should be grateful he has a girlfriend who is respectful enough of his parents to not sleep with him while they are there.

If it was THEIR house, and they didn't like it, it would be disrespectful...it's his house and you are both adults, so they need to accept that and realize that under his roof, he's the king...

You are allowed your view, but personally I think you are being uptight...it's not like they don't probably assume or know y'all sleep together...

if you are in your late 20s you are old enough to make your own decisions and his parents' opinion has no relevance unless THEY have strong uncomfortable feelings about it.. i wouldnt worry at all and just spend one night and see how you feel about it, you may feel in the morning that you're fears and doubts were unfounded and it may bring you closer together..

maybe you can explain to him why you aren't comfortable with that idea. There are other people who wouldn't also do that if their parents were around. No it's not weird. It depends what your preferences and comfort zones are

I wouldn't because it is pretty creepy. However, we are adults and should be able to have a sexual relationship without guilt.
