I'm trying to live a better lifestyle - exercising more and smarter, cutting my portion sizes and eating healthier - but one thing that I've found that is hard for me is cutting out soft drinks. I've had one or two a day for a while now, and its been hard to just drink water instead. So, while I know that I can get the caffeine I want from tea, it just isn't the same.

I know that soda - colas, especially - aren't good for you and while I've switched to diet colas (Diet Coke, specifically, since its at my work's vending machine) to cut the calories from the sodas, just how bad are these drinks for me?

I must eventually remove bone that is pressing against the nerves coming out of the cervical region C-4 & C-5. A neurosurgeon can remove them but in most patients it grows back causing extreme pain. I need a way to stop the bone from growing back into the intervertebral foramen while not injuring the soft muscle and neural tissue in the neck. What ideas do you have?

I just adopted a cat from the animal shelter today, and I had previously noticed this, but I didn't think much of it...
His left eye is closing alot more than the right. It now has some really gross looking goo in it and it smells really bad.
I plan to take him to the vet tomorrow to get it checked out, but what is it?
(From what I understand he's been at the shelter since June. It was a no-kill shelter.)

Okay, if you believe in the Trinity, where was God and the Holy spirit when Jesus was on earth? Wasn't Jesus God too? How could Jesus have been God yet still be a man on earth without any Godlike qualities? Wouldn't he have simply then just have been a man and not God? This is so confusing, Christians explain if you can.
