I have a Fender Strat and every time i play the low E and A strings it starts buzzing like the string is ratteling off the fret dividers, i know about the bolt that runs up the neck but would playing with that help me on fixing this issue...

I'm looking to take up a self defence class of some kind. But I want something that is practical, in the sense that not only is it totally effective for the street, in terms of technique, but, MORE IMPORTANTLY , it takes into consideration the phsycological aspect of confrontation (adrenal response, handling fear etc) Basically I'm looking for something as REALISTIC as possible. I'm currently reading Geoff Thompson's "Watch My Back" (anyone out there read it? that says it all for me; I'm looking for something that effectively addresses all of the issues he talks about in the book. I live in London-hope someone can help and point me in the right direction

My girlfriend and I have been together for 9 months. the last couple of months, we've been getting into a lot of arguments. A couple a days ago I have noticed a big change in her. Here are some changes; she doesn't call me just to see how im doing on the hour like she used to, the sex is starting to turn bad, the communication is gone, and she has that "I don't care attitude" sometimes to where she don't see my point of view on things. We steady argue over little things every other day. A couple days ago, She called me and said "we need to have a serious talk". My first impression when she said that was that she wants to dump me and she tired of this. To be honest, I love her, but im getting tired of her not listening to me. Here's how I feel; I can really live without her,sorry to say. I understand there's a lot of ladies in the sea. Now how should I handle my self in this serious convo. that she wants to have? Should I dump her before she dumps me. Or whats the most effective way?

I have severe pain in my legs. I have had hip replacement surgery and take 300 mgs of Morphine sulfate, 60 mgs of Hydrocodone and various benzodiazapines on a daily basis. This is under the care of a doctor in a pain management clinic.

Thiosulphate ions (S2O3 2-) reacting with iodine to form tetrathionate ions (S4O6 2-) and iodide ions.

Am totally lost as to how to get the redox equation. I gather that the iodine is reduced as;
I2 -------> 2I- + 2e- but that doesn't make sense - should it be I+ ions instead of I-?
Is that right? If so, how do I get the oxidation equation?

Any help much appreciated :)

I am extremely grateful to each one of you for the support you have given me.I went to the Doctor this morning peering down my throat he found a growth and got me to get a MRI. As it turns out, the cancer has returned.The biggest problem is that during the course of my treatment, I received a massive dose of radiation( double of what a person can withstand in his whole life). My MRI was a must but under normal circumstances even an x-ray could prove fatal. Chemo is going to be of no help and there is no question of surgery. My treating doctor is very fond of me as it seems I liven up the hospital and is very frank with me. Now as it stands I have cancer, a time period to live, no voice, no food passage and still have the responsibilty to look after my mother, wife and two teenaged sons. I accepted the verdict very normally as I know there is nothing I or anyone can do. I have lived an extraordinary life and have no regrets. I have ensured that noone in the family will lack anything.

IN mexico many people live with their parents like forever. I'm hipanic age 26 and i live with my parents AND it's fine. But i keep hearing white americans( or at least people who have a similar culture) saying that they should move out by 18 or that their parents want them out . My kind of people we live all together and it's fine, except for the privacy thing. But if anything the only thing that bothers me is i have to hear my parents fighting all the time. As long as i help out with money, what is it so bad to live with my parents? and why is it so bad for you guys that have this culture of moving out?
