If you're on the move, dried and canned foods would be the best. Just don't carry anything that needs to be cooked. A fire might attract zombies.

If you're defending the home, try to grow your own as well as stocking up on food. If you can't grow any, then just stock a LOT of food.

As for drinks, water in any situation. It may not be anyone's favorite, but it's free and there's a lot of it.

I would store Dove chocolates, Salt and Pepper Kettle Chips, Granola Bars and any other yummy junk foods I could think of. The way I figure, if I'm going to get killed by zombies, my last moments should be enjoyable.

loads of tins I suppose, and sweets and chocolate and ice cream - already living with a zombie so probably wouldn't have the same fear as other people.
