The United Wya probably can help with a referral to an agency. Is it one time help or ongoing aid? If ongoing aid because you're low income, try Chicago Housing Authority.

i am in california, sory i do not know. BUT check with your county social services, community services and non profits, st vincent de paul, salvation army tec.....churches
