I have a cat who is 19 years old. She is in fairly good health - she is affectionate, can see and get around the house, knows who I am, etc. But she cannot hear, has arthritus and the beginning of kidney disease. That's fine, all treatable. The thing that drives me and especially my husband absolutely nuts is that she pees on everything. We can't leave a load of laundry in a pile or even folded in a basket w/o her peeing in it. Sooo stinky. I don't feel right about putting her down yet, she has been my baby for so long - but I wanted opinions on when it should come to that.

My reaction to the short story “Light is Like Water” can best be described as confused and enlightened. Ironically, I feel a little baffled about the comparison of light and water, but at the same time I understand the reality of the story. I really enjoy the actuality of the spoiled brothers, who turn their small home into a navigable ocean, without the consent of their parents. This realism of ‘magical realism’ can be easy to understand, however, the magical part of it can make it seem dreadfully tricky. I think that in order to fully understand and appreciate “Light is Like Water”, one must read the passage, study magical realism and then read the story for a second time.

Can someone identify the passive verbs in this paragraph?
Are there any grammatical mistakes?
Any other suggestions?

I'm on a teachers budget, so I don't want to go over $200 (prefer lower), but I'm getting lost with the reviews. I've looked at:

-Canon Pixma iP6600D Color Photo Printer

Can anyone offer advice, or other suggestions? I like the individual ink tubes, or any way to not spend a ton on ink. But I need good picture quality. Thanks for any help.

I have been experiencing some very gassy episodes of flatuence. I figured that this would be a good opportunity to light a match or stand in front of a candle to see how big of a flame I can create. Is there any danger to doing this and are there any precautions that I should take? Am I at risk any internal injuries?
