Because we have the weapons, so we make the rules!

Well, you forgot the United States on that list, I mean, they just made the first two ever used in wartime, and the first two in existance.

The reason some of these others are condemned for having them is because they are considered dangerous.

When Iran stated that Israel should "be wipped from the face of the earth", it kinda points out that, perhaps they would use the only weapon that could wipe something from the face of the earth on their enemy.

Same with North Korea. They have been asked repeadetly, even by their best friend and communist state neighbor Chine to not test their nuclear weapons. They did anyway. If they won't listen to their communist brether and majority supplier of their imported food supply, what makes you think they won't use that weapon of mass destruction on some Non-Communist nation, say South Korea?

Nuclear weapons are not the neatest and greatest toy that nations should have as a deterrent. They are a very dangerous and environmentally unfriendly weapon that could, literraly cause the end of mankind and blow the world, Terra, you live on to small pieces many times over. (with the current stock of Nuclear weapons worldwide, I believe last estimates I read stated the world could be blown up half a dozen times.)

I personally think we should do away with ALL nuclear weapons. If nobody had them, then we could feel a bit safer about some nations leader not pushing the button because he feels slighted about something. Then again, Nuclear weapons could be the only thing protecting this planet from another World War. But... at the same time, they could lead to World War 3. If any Nuclear weapons are used anytime soon in the acts of War, mankind will be in danger. And those weapons will probably only be used as a softening measure, a limited strike on military targets of one country before an invasion.

However, they should never be used again.

Because countries like North Korea or Iran are not friendly with the US, therefore they are bad guys and they are not allowed to have nuclear weapons. Personally, I am not a fan of aforementioned countries, but I am not a fan of the US foreign politics either. Why Americans think they can tell other countries what to do? Just because America is the wealthiest and strongest country? But it will change, no one stays on top forever, whether we like it or not.

The reason they are not allowed to have nuclear weapons is because they are politically unstable countries. Many countries like North korea have boundless hatred for neighboring nations and countries and with nuclear weapons at their arsenal their is no saying on what catastrophic events could happen i.e jews and muslims.

Well instead of all this "weapon" talk why don't we simply bring the best minds together from all the countries and work on SAFE FORMS of POWER GENERATION.... kind of goes along with the "cures not wars" campaign.

I mean if we as a "world" are ever attacked from other places/points outside this planet well I think we would be able to or I hope we would be able to work together then to build weapons if we need them, I mean if we are justified to be building weapons that is. All in all the VEGAN word and ideation of BEING such is what will bring peace to our one and only UNIVERSE.

Why is everyone so biased as to we (USA) can have them but no one else can... makes me think once we are the only people to have them we might use them.... If they are so bad why do we have them...?

GWB is a very evil man what makes you think he wouldn't use one....

Maybe that is why he isn't at all concerned about global warming... because the warming he wants to do is very rapid and nuclear....

Do you really want EVERYONE to have nukes? Last time I checked (see WW2), we won. And there are an awful lot of rogue states out there who have absolutely no business with anything that powerful.

Oh, I don't know, perhaps because certain countries have leaders that are certifiably crazy and happen to be horrible dictators who enslave and murder their own people and surely can't be trusted with a bomb.

NOT to mention, if a majority of you country in starving, you should have better things to do with your money.
