God made a mistake with the whole "flooding the world, killing everyone" thing. He also made a mistake with Blue Cheese.

The only way I've ever been able to experience god is through what I call myself; and knowing myself pretty well, I have made mistakes. So I would think that if I can have a "god experience" or understanding of this higher power, I would have to say that god has made a few mistakes here and there. However, the experience I had told me that god as been aroud for a long time and was planning on being around long after I'm gone so I'd have to say that god is also pretty good at hiding his mistakes and making it seem like he has made none that would shorten the term of his existence (or nonexistence, nonbeing, etc.).

LOL at the Pluto thing. And then there are people like Hitler, Pol Pot, Charles Manson....and on and on--not god's best work, either.
But, the believers will tell you god is perfect--he has to be. Who's gonna worship some regular guy who makes mistakes? And if man is made "in god's image," then I guess that's saying humans are perfect, too, and who wouldn't want to believe that?

If God was not perfect and made mistakes He would not be God.
Would He?

Creating a being such as satan, that challenged him seems, to me, to be a very big mistake. Since Satan was cast to Earth there has been nothing but trouble in the world, starting from the Beginning. According to the Christian Bible.
So Satan was probably the biggest mistake he made.

Nothing is perfect. Absolute perfection is an illusion. If god even exists he or she or it (if technically genderless) would not be perfect either. If god were perfect then there would have been no need for a flood to wipe out his creation whom he was displeased with. A perfect god would have made a culture that would not have displeased him.

Yes God is perfect and you can see that in his laws. GOD Laws are made of three Books: The Old Testament, The new Testament and Quran as a conclusion all originated from the middle east. How can you understand GOD LAWS with out reading GOD Conclusion?
