The money that goes into 401K loan is pre-tax. Say I take out $30K as a loan at 10% for 5 years. I re-pay myself monthly, so the interest is not a big deal (I'm the bank). The problem as I see it, is that I'm repaying with 'after-tax' money. How can I figure out what the loan is actually costing me? Let's assume tax rate of 30%. I know that there are many other variables (like initial loan fee and the fact that the money that I take out is not earning interest, dividents, etc.), but just want clarification on after-tax payments for a pre-tax fund. my fiance, one year old son and i recently moved to Spain because my fiance is currently on trial with a football team here in Spain but i have found myself alone for most of the trip since most of the time he is in training and football camp and it kind of makes me crazy so i told him that i wanted to return to Trinidad but he got upset and told me i was being selfish and he is working hard for us to have a better life. But i feel so lonely here because i don't know anyone and i know my son is too am being selfish?

I dated this girl for about 3 months, I wasn't sure if I was into her and so I never took any steps to take the relationship further. I know that she is into me and I am into her, but then one night at dinner, she said she just wanted to be friends. This was almost 3 weeks ago but I am still in pain over it. My 61/2 yr. old son has been having problems very similar to those described in reference to dyslexia. His school is offering no support. If they are the people who are supposed to accomodate a learning disabilty, should they not offer testing? I've been referred out, which isn't a problem, however, if the test can be done at school, a familiar place to him, first, shouldn't it be done?

given that the US' border with Mex is about 2000-mile long and the fence they're building is only about 700-mile long, are the minutemen going to hold hands across the remaining length of the border to seal the US off? my grandmother and her sister belonged to Eastern Star for over 50 years. My sister claims they are witches! Whatever they do, they sure do keep it secret- once i asked grandma, and she wouldn't tell me...she would never allow me to go with her either.
Last time i saw her, i asked her, and she said "I don't know of any witches who go there" so nonchalantly that i almost believed my sister might be right! But surely not..........

But I know of a guy who lived with a woman for two years, married her had a kid then started an affair and left his wife and kid when she was one or two years old! He moved to Arizona with the woman, who was also married with kids. Am I the only one who finds this horribly awful?!
