my grandmother and her sister belonged to Eastern Star for over 50 years. My sister claims they are witches! Whatever they do, they sure do keep it secret- once i asked grandma, and she wouldn't tell me...she would never allow me to go with her either.
Last time i saw her, i asked her, and she said "I don't know of any witches who go there" so nonchalantly that i almost believed my sister might be right! But surely not..........
If you have ever attended Eastern Star, answer this...what are you doing up in there??? Enquiring minds must know!

The Eastern Star used to be the ladies group of the Freemasons but I read that both men and women can belong now. And of course, the Freemasons have always been a secret society so anything is possible.

Not a cult, a secret society.
If you attend a secret meeting and then talk about it, it's not a secret.
If you have relatives, they can invite you to join.

It is absolutely NOT a cult. It is the female version of Free and Accepted Masons. It is a club, not a cult!
