they think terrorists cutting off the heads of innocent Americans is exactly the same as American troops removing the clothes of prisoners and laughing at their weenies?
If I'm a prisoner of war I sure hope I get "tortured" by an American instead of an Iraqi.

You are missing the point. What Americans did was not a more mild form of torture, it wasn't even torture. Some people pay good money to take their clothes off and have people point at their we-wees

tat2me1960 isn't paying attention. I'm not even refering to the legislation you mention, you arrogant buffoon. I am not a Dem or a Republican but a Libertarian so if I am persuaded by any propaganda it isn't coming from any neocons. Most people on this site, yourself included do not know what a neocon is and label all conservatives neocons which is patently incorrect.
I was referring to the bleeding heart wussy *** liberals on this site who DO constantly compare laughing at we-wee's to cutting off of heads. By the way, I am perfectly comfortable with the fact that my stance may mean other countries are free to remove the clothes of American prisoners and laugh at them-that would be an improvement from their current status quo. You are niave if you believe any international law will prevent the savages we battle against from doing anything they choose to American prisoners.
Instead of reading much more into a question than is there from your soap box, consider that ? itself.

Liberals are very warped.
They care more about terrorists than they do their own people.
They need to get jobs and learn about real life.

I know that this is rude but the first thing you can do in order to have an intelligent discussion would be to remove you head from your butt! Once you have accomplished that you can actually listen. Not all liberals feel the way that you described them. I personally do not think that it decapitation is the same as what a number of our troops did. humiliation is far better than death.
I support our troops I do not however support the way our government has so thinly spread out our troops in fighting 2 different wars the war on terrorism and the war for oil. The president took the opportunity to take on Iraq when he should have taken care of Osma in Afghanistan mountains so that they could have put him on trial for the planned out terrorist act of 9-11. Instead he went against the UN and ran with his own agenda.
Tell me has the US made any gains for this war other than the loss of lives of our troops, raising the gas prices and losing the support of other countries.
Again I am going to say that I do support our troops they are doing their jobs and are protecting our country and I pray for their safe return home.

If it has escaped your notice that prisoners of war have died because of injuries inflicted on them while imprisoned in the hands of American troops, then you need to start paying attention.
BTW, our president didn't just shove the so-called "detainee bill" through Congress so he could laugh at peoples' weenies.
I submit, killing prisoners of war is exactly the same act no matter which side of the conflict you are on. That Americans have engaged in such activities is no more excuseable than it is when someone else does it.
If you wish to engage in discussion, you must first learn what has occured, and why the debate is taking place to begin with. Your question indicates you do not have that knowledge, so, as you say, intelligent discussion is not possible.

No liberal thinks ANY such thing, and I'd love to know who provides your propoganda.
LIBERAL'S biggest concern is that both, the legislation on "torture" passed last week, and the Patriot Act, VAGUELY RE-DEFINE "terrorist" and "enemy compatant" to easily include any AMERICAN CITIZEN that the government is displeased with, further eroding our civil liberties, rights, guarantee of due process, and protections from unfair treatment by our own government, that YOU would be well aware of if you actually READ the PUBLIC RECORD of these documents, and how they are worded...instead of believing your propagandist, pro-neo-con rhetoric.
Also, consider that many military leaders and veterans are concerned that this act will allow other nations to treat OUR captured military in the same manner.
You're so busy being loyal to your neo-con traitors, that you're selling out your own nation of people to them. Both acts, together, shift power from Congress to the President (ANY President) and increase a President's powers. Essentially they take "the people" entirely out of governmental process, protect the government from US, and protect us from NOTHING.
You are incredibly stupid if you think this has ANYTHING to do with terrorists. Bush repeatedly stated that terrorists threaten our freedoms, yet ONLY our own government can deny us our freedoms...and Bush has ALREADY done that. By changing our Constitution, he has ALREADY re-defined our country. The America you fantasize about has ALREADY been ripped from beneath our feet.
This isn't about Dem's VS Rep's, you puppet. WAKE UP. Both parties are corrupt. This is the American People VS Tyranny.
Stop reading that garbage, and start being an American again.

actual. Do you suspect which you would be waiting to have interplay Hitler in an smart, calm political communicate? If he ranted in his scripted speeches, do you think of he might do extra useful "off the cuff"? with the aid of the comparable token, you would be no longer able to have interplay a a ways-left liberal in a communication. He might basically replace the venture or communicate around it till you forgot the question. The sane anybody is in the midsection in spite of association. a ways-suited and lots-left could be in psychology books with the different indicators of insanity.

I agree. My best friends dad was a German soldier and at the end of the war he said that the Germans ran to the Americana's to be captured because they didn't want to be captured by the Russians.

I would think that is because most liberals have had few, if any bullets flying over their heads. Thats their whole platform is to condem anything that they don't know anything about, with no facts to back up hat they say.

That's not the point. Both are unacceptable forms of behavior. Obviously the terrorist are worse.
The simple fact is that we are supposed to be better than them. What, you think we should act as they do?
Now who is unable to engage in intelligent discussion? (that would be you)
