Duane Morrison, Charles Carl Roberts and on and on. But I know of a guy who lived with a woman for two years, married her had a kid then started an affair and left his wife and kid when she was one or two years old! He moved to Arizona with the woman, who was also married with kids. Am I the only one who finds this horribly awful?! Anyone can be tempted to cheat or even make the mistake, but they left their own kids and moved across the country!

most people think of them selves first and we are all guilty of it just some can't find the strength to put their kids first

I was hurt more than once as a child. In relation to abuse-- over time I've been led to believe that some people just like the power they feel over things when they know they can do that. With that power mixed with serious mental issues they feel that there is no stopping them. I know I could NEVER hurt another human being like that, but especially not a child.

I don't know how people hurt thier own kids. I mean that is your own flesh and blood. They came from your body. I couldn't possibly hurt my kids if i had some. I know some people claim they hurt thier kids becuse they got on thier nerves or something well then if thats the case go see a doctor for nerve problems!!!

Some people are majorly screwed up with mental illness, coldness, and heartlessness. Unfortunatly, it's a matter of society/human nature/even animal nature. in the animal world even some mother's kill their children. Sad fact of life...though I think any HUMAN who harms a child should face the most harsh consequences.

I never under stood this either i have 2 kids and although they work my nerves i could never hurt them i love the. But my mother was an abused child she was adopted and the only one out if three to be abused she said it was because they went suppose to have her just her brother and sister, and they hated her for coming into their hose hold.

I know exactly how you feel on this! I find it disgusting! Not only are they hurting their kids, they're going to ultimately hurt themselves. I feel that if you don't love, you don't get loved back. People who have no remorse for anyone they've brought into this world or vowed to love forever, will die alone.

I think they aren't mature enough to put the children first. Yes there is divorce but the children shouldn't have to wonder if it was their fault or if their parents still love them. I think parenting should be taught and mandantory in schools.
