I live in South Texas and he lives in the Midwest. I am already flying in a couple days before New Year's Eve to be with him. I can't get there before due to lack of childcare. I want to do something different to surprise him yet don't want it to be too involved as it's hard to plan from so far away. Have already gotten a shirt, stadium seats and the tickets. He is a huge fan of his team and we are just planning on watching the game on TV on New Year's Eve, but I wanted him to be able to see it live. Thank you.

I suffer from depression. Some days are pretty good I even sometimes feel euphoric, while some days are terrible. I feel this EMPTINESS inside of my soul, you know... when it comes to that, nothing can make me happy, NOTHING. Not even my hobbies, my friends, my family. NOTHING. It gets worse as day is coming to an end --- sometimes, in night, I suffer from panic attacks. I can't breathe and I'm afraid of something irrational.

+ I'm pretty introverted person and I don't have many friends. I'm very interested in science, computer and stuff like that.
+ I'm 15 years old
+ I come from pretty rich family
+ On the outside I look like I have a high self-esteem. On the inside, I'm very sad and unsure.

Please don't tell me to use medications. I DON'T want to poison myself with some antidepressants. I just want to know how to overcome this depression/anxiety/panic attaks/emptiness without medications. Any experiences? Am I alone in this condition? Help.. Help!

for his english homework last week my younger brother got asked to write a fictional section as if it was taken from a book and then set some questions afterwards. this what he wrote-

"this way!" he shouted to the others. the others were tired and cold and sick off running.
"im sick of you bossing us around!" dan shouted back "im staying here."
they were in the middle of a cornfield. just then the whirr of a helicopter was heard.
"come on!" he yelled and he started to run.
reluctantly so did the others. search lights from the helicopter scanned the field while they waited shivering in the bushes. they were safe but not for long.

My brothers teacher gave my brother a detention for the fiction but said his questions were very good.

why did he get a detention??

30-40 years ago many women graduated high school and married soon after. Many adults born in the 50’s and 60’s were children of parents who were in their late teens and early 20’s.

These young mothers seemed to raise their children just fine, in fact my grandparents were in their early 20’s when they had my parents, and my parents are great people with wonderful childhoods!

Now it seems like if a woman has her first child before her late 20’s everyone talks about how young she is and how she is wasting her youth.

What is with our society’s attitude towards young mothers? They are in their prime to have children, women are most fertile and healthy from 18-24 for a reason!

In 10 years are people going to say a 30 year old is crazy to think about having her first baby and that is too young?

What do you think?

-Married guy with a wife in her mid 20’s with no kids yet.
