What is the best fin fish to eat in the sea or rivers?

Question

Vertebrate fish with fins. Even if does come from a fish farm

eg. cod, trout, salmon, haddock, sole, halibut, etc.

Not invetrbrates, shellfish etc.

Take your pick,
Have you ever had smoked eel. wonderful subtle taste, carp if really well washed and Baked with herbs.
Roach with bacon Wrapped around it and baked,
Perch stuffed with Lemon and cranberrys.
(I must say that you must not used rod caught fish in this country for food.)
Salt water, Bass simply grilled with Lemon, Tuna cooked until it is still red on the inside, and a balsamic vineger salad.
Halibut, steamed? Grilled, Fried (gently)
One of the kings has to be Mackerel, caught from the beach on a summer night and grilled on a log fire on the beach, great.
so go eat your fish fingers if you wish, But............!

Sea bass is wonderful, so is halibut. Neither should be cooked for very long, just until the flesh is white right through. Serve with some really fresh cooked vegetables and saute new potatoes

Oh for a simply cooked Sea Trout (aka: Silver Trout/Salmon Trout), freshly taken from the river. (Poached, no doubt) - not the cooking, the manner of catching it. Seriously, beats Salmon by streets - fantastic, my mouth is watering at the thought...................
