Should there be a program for each person? Or would I be fine with 115 programs?

One for each expected guest and extra to keep as mementos. I would say no less than 150, that is if you are certain of the number of guests you will have. Some people don't RSVP anymore.

I would do an even 150. For some reason, I have 500 people and printed 520 programs and ran out of program. A few extra is always good, but to many is a waste. Plus you may want to keep a few for scrap books and things like that. Congratulations.

I would think at least 130 and 5 or10 extra. The reason is every one that shows should at least have the option of having their own program. And the extras will be for the parents of the bride and groom that will want to put them into albums or mail them to aunts and uncles, or other family members that couldn't come. And there is always the pending spill of punch or sat on programs on a few, before the day is over. Keep extras safe until someone needs it.

I would go for an even number like 150- that way you could send out some for friends/relatives wanted which couldn't be there, and you would be secure if more or less than 130 show up. You might also get a printing deal for such an even number

If your guests are bringing young children and they are being counted as part of the 130, then 115 would be enough. If they are all adults, you might want to get 130 and a few extras in case someone loses theirs and wants another one.

I work at a church and my rule of thumb is one for each person. Expect that there could be some who come for the ceremony who will not be going to the dinner, but I like to rule on the side of error. I would print 150. Congratulations and best wishes on your big day!

Is this something new? I have never been to a wedding with a program, and I have been to quite a few around the country.

I agree with everyone who says that you should have 150 printed. This way you have a copy and the people in your wedding party can have a copy.

2 option. you can print 100 pieces but the other 30 you photostat them and you have called every one of them who you send them or just print 130 pieces. if you want to confirm you don waste it you mak e a list yopu called to confirm weather the guest r coming or not then you know how much you can save.

save your $$ no one really keeps them if you must print 115 if that's in your budget - if the 130 show up at the church you are a very popular Gal! (they usually never do)
