I have Windows XP Media Center 2005 and Windows Vista. I'm trying to leave my computer and get out of the house but while I'm gone I'd like it to come out of standby whenever my TV shows are scheduled so it can record them and for me to be able to access it remotely through Remote Desktop Connection. Will it work or will I just have to leave it on in normal power mode?

I hear many different ways the word liberal is used, but how do you define it... just curious... vote for the one that best describes the entire group... and you can choose more than one...

A. Any democrat that voted for Kerry...

B. people who go to protests constantly and smoke weed all day, maybe even live in communes... hippies basically

C. poor people on welfare...

D. the majority of college professors and scientists...

E. people who push for civil rights for everyone (gay people and muslims included)... ACLU-ish

F. everyone that dislikes Bush

G. Everyone that wants to set a deadline for the Iraq war...

H. anyone who support socialized medicine and state owned schools....

and please feel free to add any explanation or more information on the subject... but let's try to keep the "they are stupid" to a minimum.... I know some of you think they are stupid already...

I, personally, suck at small talk. I always try to get something meaningful out of a conversation. When I'm around people I don't know, I can't think of things to say to keep a conversation going. I know that other people have a very easy time doing small talk. This leads me to believe that their are levels of small talk ability.

This is kinda dumb, but I was watching "Captain Ron" by chance on tv the other day (with Martin Short and Kurt Russell) and Martin Short's character inherits a boat from his dead uncle, then he, his wife, and their son and daughter hire Captain Ron (played by Russell) to help them sail the boat back from the island where his uncle died and they have all these sort of adventures along the way. When they finally make it to Florida to sell the boat, they decide they're having fun as a family and they prefer it to their life back home in Chicago so they sail back out to go on more adventures and to travel the world (or at least the tropical parts of the world). So, getting passed the fact that this is a fictitious movie, would you ever consider packing everything up and traveling the world with your significant other or family? I would have never thought I'd want to do that, but I really think now that I would. What does everyone else think? Thanks. :)

Whenever I bring up an issue with my husband, for example: I ask him to clean up his dishes or wrappers and those of our 2 kids when he's walking back to the kitchen from the living room, just to help out. Well he usually gets upset and starts telling me I make him feel like he's not doing anything around the house ( which he doesn't) telling me how perfect I think I am, or why don't I just leave him alone, why am I bringing this up now (its never a good time with him) and etc, etc, etc.... So I ask him to tell me why I should be ok with leaving garbage around the house and not have him pick up after himself and show the kids a good example? Then I'm just a bi--- and I always want to argue, and he just won't talk, he just yells. I am not perfect, and just want an equal partnership. We've been together 11 years, don't say it, I've grown and matured and have dealt with my demons and need stability, mental that is, at this point in my life. Does he have an anger or emotional issue?

Sorry some people do not understand my question so i have to edit it again. when my wife is going on vacation she cooks different kind of foods specially nonveg. I put in plastic container and FROZEN it and use it later. It is normal cooking nothing (preservatives) is added in cooking to keep the cooked food in good condition. Maximum how long we can keep COOKED FOOD as FROZEN and use it later.

And once i DEFROZE it within how many hours we have to finish that food. After boiling it nicely can we keep the remainin food in refrigerator again and use it next day say for 24 hours.

Is there any need of adding something during cooking to keep the food in good condition. If so what is that.

What are the other things to take care to preserve the cooked food for a long period.
