I was just wondering if someone knew if the requirments for SWAT are diffrent for diffrent departments?

I have been in Iraq for the past year and will return in November. I would like for my fiance to spend Christmas with me and my family but she would like to spend it with her family in her state. I am pissed that she is being so selfish when I would spend Christmas with her if the situation was in reverse. The last two Christames I have been without my parents and I want to be with them but I want to be with her. If it comes down to it, I will spend Christmas with her and her family, but I will miss my family. What do you think I should do?

I'm serious! I think my cat has a problem. She is only a year old and she's HUGE. If we leave cat food out she eats it until it is all gone and then cries for more. We have two cats and she will eat both bowls of food at a time! It seems like all she does is eat. I don't know what to do. Our other cat is two years and has a normal build so I don't think it is the cat food. What can we do to fix this problem? We are really worried about her health.

My ex boyfriend and I have 2 classes together and are in pep band together. I realize he could still be bitter about us breaking up ( 4 months ago) but he is treating me horribly. Since school started I have been nice to him but today he was walking with my friend Alex and I said hey Alex. Alex couldn't see my and he asked who it was. My ex boyfriend responded saying its Satan. I don't get why he is saying this. We had a great relationship but now he is so mean to me. We agreed we would try and be friends when we broke up but hes being so rude while I'm nice to him. What do I do?

I am a good cook but my grandma is a FANTASTIC cook. She used to always prepare huge holiday dinners every year but now she has gotten a little too old to do the cooking at gatherings. The problem is, for years we've come to expect certain dishes to taste a certain way and it's just not the same anymore. I have been trying for years to get recipes from my grand but she never uses recipes. She knows if something is not right "by eye". She never measures, just adds a pinch here or a dash there and it always comes out PERFECT!! I am afraid that when she passes on family get togethers will never be the same. Last year I had Thanksgiving at my house and my big brother made the comment, "The macaroni and cheese is good but it certainly doesn't taste like grands (grandma). Not that me and my sisters can't cook but it's not the same and it's kinda sad knowing that we will no longer be able to eat her sweet potato pies, buttermilk biscuits, collards etc. Anyone else having this problem?

I have just been told to watch my carbs due to my triglycerides being high. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to go on a low carb diet without "withdrawls". I love carbs. I went on a job interview with a company that i thought was laget but now i am second guessing my self because of the setting and location of the interview. Then they wanted me to pay for my background check, credit check and the classes that I would be taking up front before i even knew for sure that i had the job. So i did the stupid thing and wrote a posted dated check for $199. i am not sure if i have been scamed but i nned to know before the date on the check....any advice
