my 12 year old daughter wants to be a army person for halloween but she needs a teen costume but i cant find one that does not show too much.

Depending on where you live, old camouflage uniforms may be for sale at the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Guys buy them for hunting.

Trust me; camouflage utilities cover you up from the neck to the ankle!

(GIGGLE) Wait til she's 13 and see what she comes up with. Please explain to her that in this day and time......showing "too" much could be disrespectful-- both because of her age and anyone serving in the Armed Forces now might not take it lightly. Anything you come up with probably wont work but.....try your local Army/Navy Surplus Store and you and she work on alterations together.

Why not try department stores for camouflage clothing, maybe the sporting goods section?
