Physically? Sometimes the first time or so. If that is your question, take it easy the first time(s) and find a good person to do this with. Sadly it does not hurt the guy so understanding can exist but not a true feeling of what you may be going through.
Emotionally? Depends on you. Sure, if you just gave yourself to a creep who does not appreciate the significance of sex.
Everything can hurt, sex--in the long run is great!!!!!!!!!

yes sex can hurt in many different ways ...all wemon need a different kind of way to have sex some need a very gentle person some like it more harsh..you mainly have to learn how your body is and how you feel about it...but if your just starting to have sex then yes it will hurt..and you may bleed but that is a normal thing just make sure to be with someone who is going to be good to you
