well if hes not already, he will start walking soon, expressing his wants more clearly, not always in words but in motions, he may start saying some words. at 13 months a lot of toddlers develop stranger anxiety. he may start immitating what he sees others doing, like my daughter "talks" on the phone, she is 13 months.

every child is different. Try not to have many "expectations" of him right now b/c you could very possibly be disappointed. You can't really compare him with another 1 year old b/c they vary greatly!

he will explore everything,every child is different but some things are universal,like putting things in the mouth..I wouldnt expect any words just yet,I have 3 boys my youngest is 20 months & wont say anything unless we say,say mummy etc.

HE WILL START SAYING MORE WORDS AND HE WILL GET INTO MORE THINGS IF HE IS WALKING. HE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT HE WANTS.
