Well, I'm heart broken. My girlfriend broke up with me about a month ago. She got a job opp. in Houston and she said that if she passed it up that she would regret it for the rest of her life. I told her that if she went then i couldnt go with her because I couldnt leave my job (i make good money and I am very happy with my job). She ended up choosing the job and she left about a month ago. I cut the relationship off there.
Well, my question is, I've been with a few girls since and am currently dating a girl but don't really like her or want to like her. I just sorta want her around, or anybody around for that matter. I know it sounds pretty lame but I miss my girl. Do you guys think that it would be the right decision to try and make things work with her? Should I try to move to Houston? or do you think that I need to just move on? I'm really torn and I feel like I somehow let the one and only love of my life slip through my fingers. My cousin's cat just had kittens and I was considering adopting one to keep my cat company when I'm not home. Is it likely that they will get along? My cat is 4 yrs old and a male so should I get a female kitten? I know some animals feel threatened by other animals of the same sex. I didn't know if that includes cats/kittens. (he's also fixed)

I have been dating my girlfriend for 2 years and in those 2 years she has regularly flaked on plans we make, even the plans we make for the same day. When I call her at the appointed time, she doesn't answer her phone. I tell her it upsets me, but she keeps doing it. I LOVE her, but I don't trust her to do what she says she will do. I have suggested we go back to the dating level and work on the foundation again before it's to late. Any suggestions?
