Have you ever had an instance where all someone did was try to please you but only ended up annoying you? Well, when one seems to clingy and craves attention, it can in turn backfire and make others reject.
Be true to yourself and do not over do it. It is when one is unavailable that others are attracted to them. For example, rather than tell a guy , "I saw your friend Jack, we had lunch and talked about school and work" say, "Hey, I saw Jack today". This offers an invitation for inquiries. He will become interested in what you talked about if you don't offer the details on your own.
Instead of calling a guy up every day, let him call you and ask how you are doing.
And, of course be confident. Normal Guys are attracted to confident women that are sure of themselves.

Usually the ones that you like, don't like you back. It's just the way it is. But, be yourself. You don't want to be with anyone and have to be fake all the time. Just let you shine through, and then when a guy does like you back, you can be sure it's for the person you are and the things you do, not because of things you just asked people tips on.

Well..when you reach my age, it'll start getting a little bit more difficult because everyone's "In a relationship". But liking boys and having them liking you back is really different. Sometimes you gotta get to know a person, and try your luck out by admitting that you like someone. But you can't like a whole lot of boys, that just means you're selling yourself short. Wait awhile, see who comes along in to your life and you'll be glad you're not taken yet.

if you like some one in particular and he is not involved with some one then start paying more attention to him , also ask personal questions about him from a common friend. start showing more interest in his activity and try to spend as much time as possible with him ,if he is willing things will click.
