I don't think God has anything against your 'little fella' wearing his 'hat'.
Circumcision was required of Jews to show their covenant with the Old Testament God.
Personally, I find circumcision to be barbaric. My thought is that a man should decide whether or not to be circumcised. My parents made that decision for me and I wish they had not.
A 'little fellas' 'hat' is a beautiful extension of self.

I've always wondered that myself. What's the deal with circumcision? I see this act as akin to castration. Just a hop, skip, and a jump before I lack sexual description. And that's not a pleasant thought. I'm rather fond of my "little fella". He makes me happy.

I have two sons. Long long ago....hats were not allowed, so I followed tradition and allowed my sons to have their hats removed. I cried and cried and could not even show my face during the "hat's off" drama.
I regret making choices to alter another human beings body, when the person being altered had no decision.
HATS ON TO YOU!!

just more arbitrary silliness originating not from god but from man.
I'm not religious anyway, and my son is uncircumcised. sad to see how many still perpetuate this barbarity on their poor defenseless offspring in the name of conformity or misguided notions of superior hygiene.
