Today we are having company come over. I am fixing to go clean the house from top to bottom knowing it is going to get messy. so I guess what I should really be asking is, why do we clean it from top to bottom (if you do), when you know people with kids are going to come in and make it messy?

I just started working out. Monday I goto the gym, 30 minutes on an elipitcial runner. I run 4 miles and 400 calories at a heartrate of 150 (Cardio speed according to the chart). I do that mon-wed-thursday. Tuesday and Friday I play hockey for an hour in a league. Will that help me reduce my weight? Before that I was just playing hockey once a week. I also cut down my eatting. Well I am trying to.

Although these recipes do sound good to me...the ingredients are mostly fresh spices and produce that I do not normally buy for they do not have long 'shelf life'...and not something my two teen sons will use in their personal easy cooking...I don't like paying the extra for fresh to only toss half because it spoiled...being in the country does not allow my ability to drive to the store daily for ingredients and I find that very time consuming for a full time worker and single mom....any suggestions?
