I just started working out. Monday I goto the gym, 30 minutes on an elipitcial runner. I run 4 miles and 400 calories at a heartrate of 150 (Cardio speed according to the chart). I do that mon-wed-thursday. Tuesday and Friday I play hockey for an hour in a league. Will that help me reduce my weight? Before that I was just playing hockey once a week. I also cut down my eatting. Well I am trying to.

while at the gym you should add some weights to your workout. They will keep your metabolism working longer, and with more muscle it will burn more calories during the day.
