I am so tired of TV. I have about 150 channels and nothing seems to amuse me. Granted, I will watch a sporting event once in a while, or the Discovery Channel, but other than that there is nothing on that is mind stimulating- rather mind numbing. The objective of most television programming and commercials is to dumb people down, brainwash and mislead the public with fear and insecurity, and promote consumerism. There are just so many better and more productive things to do in life than sit in front of a TV in a zombie like trance and be fed a bunch of BS. TV is incredibly powerful and most definitely exerts an influence on the publics’ belief systems and behavior. The scary thing is people are buying into everything they see on TV and this is overshadowing a person’s ability to think critically.

Another fun question, you guys! No need to argue, because all of them are good in some way. But which one represents the Rainbow Nation in the most positive way? Please tell me what shows you like and when it's on as well. I listen to SA radio between 2 in the morn and 1 in the afternoon (SA time), because I live in Korea. Should I listen to other shows? If you church leaders say you cannot do anything without their persmission (not even if God says otherwise). You can't make any move without consulting them first. Does it then make church a prison? What if they make rules for you that your supposed to follow that are not anywhere in the word, but use the word to install fear in the people? Why is it when a church leader has issues it's their nakedness & you should accept them, but when it comes to the "no name no title Christian" they are going to hell when they do something wrong? Why is it a person is out of the will of God (even though God told them to leave) when they leave a church? A true "leader" should be proud that a christian learns to get God for themselves? So why aren't they?

My sister never wants to have the family dinners at her house. Because she doesn't want to the work . They are at my house or my brother house. I feel like life has fallin apart for me, My 11 year old son I just found out has been shopping lifting and also stealing food in line at the cafeteria that isnt paid for and he looks me dead in the eye and lies to me about it all but being a parent I found out through his youngest brother he's been stealing and his school notified me about the food situation, I just found out my grandfather who has raised me since I was little (he is 80yrs old) is ill, Im failing my classes in college because of all going on, and my fiance thinks Im wonder women that I can work my 40hr a week job and also do things for his company and if I forget he yells at me. Im dealing with so much right now that I dont know how to cope and feel as if Im going to have a breakdown what should I do? I cant even remember the last time I smiled.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant with twins. We found out there were two babies after an early u/s 2 weeks ago after I had some light spotting. One baby was a little smaller than the other but the dr said prob nothing to worry about. I went for another u/s yesterday and baby b has not grown hardly any while baby a is right on schedule. Both babies have very strong steady heartbeats and they said that other than the size difference everything looks ok. The dr had an emergency and had to run out before we could ask questions. I go back in 2 weeks but does anyone have any advice or suggestions of what could be wrong??? I'd appreciate any answers that could help!!! Thanks!!

I just started grad school and have to read for hours and hours every day. I don't like sitting at the table while reading. I went to a school for children with back pains, and we used to read and write in classes while laying on the stomach, with a "triangle" underneath the chest so that chest and shoulders were elevated and we could write . Have any one heard of any devices that will allow me to read while laying down and yet be back pain-conscious? What's the most ergonomic way to read for long periods of time? Thanks!!!
