Well a good guess for having dry lips is lack of vitamin C. Let here drink some orange juice, or better to eat some KIWI, it helps a lot. Al so a multi vitamin with help to if you take them dayly. Also if its very critical dryness consult your doctor, Scurvy is a skin desease that cause this kind of problems, but me you dont be worry about this decease , It was very common during the Civil war, but nowadays is very rare. Have a good day.

Pretty simple and cheap- it happens to me often and what helps me is drinking alot of water every day. If she drinks at least 32 ounces throughout the rest of the day today, and tomorrow, I am sure her lips will begin to get better. (unless there is some underlying medical issue). Also- lipstick moisturizing or not drys out lips.
More fresh fruits and veggies won't hurt either!

Centrum junior is a good idea for a vitamin supplement. The cod liver oil idea is great too - essential fatty acids are necessary for heathy skin and lips. I reccomend a cocoa butter based lip balm or stick for dry sensitive lips.
Good luck! (Be sure she drinks plenty of water).

Well one thing she should stop doing is licking her lips. That actually dries them out more. Get her some chap stick and have her apply that when she feels her lips are dry. When my lips get really dry I brush them gently with a toothbrush to remove the dry skin and then apply lip balm.

The BEST stuff I have found is Lip Dew by Avon. It's not expensive, very moisturizing and it's very soft, unlike lip balms that are hard and tend to pull at your lips (sometimes tearing them). Everyone I have recommended using it has told me that it's the best stuff they have ever used. My husband uses it everyday!

they are right i work in a nursing home and the vaseline is the best thing . since she is 7 yrs old you will not have to worry if she gets it in her mouth some things are not good for them and if she is like my girl she licks her lips all the time that dries them out to so if you can get her to put it on as much as you can it will get better.
