Phlegm.
It probably means you have the flu. Your body is getting rid of dead white cell and virus residue.
Or, you've recently quit smoking and your body is ridding itself of toxins it had given up on clearing up.

Hi!
I suffer the same problem. Unfortunatly there is no way to treat it and I bet the thing smells horrible when it is squished right?
It's a build up of highly-infectious mucus from the back of the throat. Don't panic, there are ways of prventing smells n stuff. Use a mouthwash each day and make sure you gargle like heck. Sometimes these things will go away for months on end and then you can bring up three in a row, it depends on the season. Also, try blowing your nose more instead of sniffing as this forces more mucus down into your throat, risking a build up.
Hope this helps!

It's a collection of bacteria that builds up in the back of your mouth. Sometimes small particles of food get lodges in the creases in the back of your throat. Bacteria is sent to break it down but it often gets lodged there.
As you have done, these lumps of bacteria can come up into your mouth.
This sounds disgusting but if you take it out and crush it between your fingers and smell it... it should smell absolutely foul... if it does then that's what it is.
I used to get these in my tonsils as they were very deep pitted. My only solution was to get my tonsils removed and it has helped tremendously... no more smelly white lumps!!

It's infected tonsils even though you may not have a sore throat. It's actually a sign you may have to have your tonsils taken out eventually, or that you'll deal with alot of problems like tonsilitis and strep thoat throughout the course of your life.

I think I know. Is it actually coming out of your tonsil? It's bacteria and food residue. Does it stink? I clean my tonsils out carefully with a little plastic toothpick and a lot of patience. I wish someone would bring out a tiny vaccuum cleaner to clean tonsils out!

Alien spawn? Been probed lately?
Ok- report me now. Sorry- I couldn't resist being a wise ***- but hey- it's better than being a dumb ***, right?
It could be a calcium build up or perhaps part of a chipped tooth. If it happens again- see your physician.
Good luck and have a great day!!!

It is actually food that has been released from your tonsil cavities. I get them all the time! It can also be mucus and not food. You tend to get them most when your thoat is sore or you have a cold

I know exactly what it is. I used to get those in my tonsils. Its drainage from your sinuses, and also food can collect in the tonsils.
Im not saying your tonsils are bad....Im just saying your tonsils can get these things.

Go see your MD to rule out any medical problem. It could be allergies.
