If you are asking her to clean without being willing to do the cleaning yourself, you should reexamine your own actions. However, if you do the bulk of the cleaning and she never pitches in, have a talk with her about dividing up the domestic responsibilities--maybe she could do the laundry and cooking, while you take care of the vacuuming and dusting. If she is unwilling to do any of this, consider whether she is worth staying with--if she is, HIRE A CLEANING SERVICE.

Do you help? I'ts 50/50 You clean your mess , she cleans hers. Make a list ans schedule . make a fair list of who does what and sign off. I t is customary that if one works and the other does not, the other that soes not may worke the house , bu the other must be courteous and not make ignrant messes to create more work. Everyone should cleanc there on mess.. Leave the average house hold cleaning to the one that does not have an outside job. Remembr that house parents heve a very big job also. A small child takes up a whole lot of time. They are needy and insecure ,they need constant attention. This will interfere with evryday chores. Remember when you take off your clothes , put them in the hamper and not the floor. when you firty a dish ,wash it right away and put in the dishwasher or dry it and put it away. This custs back on the big load. I'ts more oranized and then you have more time for love.

Touchy subject! Do you like to clean your house? If your girlfriend stays at home while you work she could be responsible for the deep cleaning (window washing...bathtub scrubbing), however you still need to clean up after yourself, pick up your dishes, wipe up your mess etc. she's not your maid. Take turns cleaning things you both make dirty...like making the bed, and doing dishes. However if you both work (no it doesn't matter if you still make more $) you both need to put equal effort into keeping the house clean. Most importantly, be appreciative of your girlfriend, and thank her for even the smallest tasks. If she feels her work goes unnoticed and unappreciated she won't be willing to do more.

Think about hiring a maid service or maybe you yourself help in the cleaning chores, or if you do a little everyday then on the weekends you dont have that much to do or split the chores up thats what we do at home and its alot easier then she doesnt feel like she has to do it all.
Remember a relationship is 50/50 and that also means the household duties.

this is a typical situation that always happens. one person does all the work while the other is lazy. if you clean all the time and ask her to just clean once and she gets, mad there is a problem. it not her job to do all of the cleaning but its also not yours. maybe you should talk to her about how you feel and if she still doesnt want to clean anything then im sorry to say but i think you should leave her. no one deserves to have to do all the work. neway this is just a suggestion.

Why cant you do it. No women wants to be bossed around this is a relationship not a job. Maybe by helping out so it gets done quicker and not wasting the day away and then do something rewarding in the evening. The chores around the house is a 2 way street.

Do you make a mess? Are you a clean person? Who's making all the mess? If it's you, you clean. If it's her and not you then I suggest she should clean it. If she doesn't care and doesn't mind the mess... I think you ought to do something about it. She might just be plain and simple, "LAZY". But also remember you can't train an old dog to do new tricks.

is there a reason why both of you cant clean it? maybe yall can seperate the chore list so that it wont be quite as stressful on either one of you.

but if she really cant keep a house clean and tidy then how is she going to be able to handle parental issues. sounds to me like she has some growing up to do. she needs to held accountable. if she cant own up to her own responsibilities then you need to find someone that will.

Hi my names Jessica. I think that you and her should talk privately about why she doesn't like to clean the house. It could be because she has to clean it by herself, so just help her clean the house. She's not your maid, she's your girlfriend, so don't treat her like a maid. If you truely like or love her then you wouldn't treat her like a maid. Well that's all i have to say.

Why not suggest you spend the day cleaning the house together, that way she doesn't feel like she is doing all the work and by working together it will go faster and you will have more fun.
