My sis in law finally got operated for her uterus removal surgery two hours ago.She is conscious now but my fiance told me shes feeling giddy n irriated sort of vomiting..Im in a different city so I cant meet her personally..Im too tensed..Is feeling of giddiness a bad sign?Please help me with this..Im tensed.

Let the operative drugs wear off and see how she is. She might be fixed once the drugs wear off.
If she is poorly, then she might have lost a lot of blood in the operation or have something else wrong. The doctors should review her. She might need more fluids, or antinausea medications and be fine after this or she might need transfusion or other things that may require her to stay longer.

The times that I have had surgery, I am usually in a GREAT mood for the first couple hours, then need to sleep for a good 4-5 hours. Then I am usually back to myself. On most discharge papers it says the meds they use can stay in your system for 24 hours. So give it some time and she should be back to "normal" Hope it all went well!

Her symptoms may be not only from what her body went through, could be a sign of an allergy to what was used to "put her under". I am allergic to anesthesia and went through 2 surgeries before I found out why I was waking up so sick! It will pass of course, but maybe ask if she can get some phenergan to stop being so sick for now.

Let her get fully recovered from the anesthesia before you start to worry about her. Some pain meds can change a person's normal personality, but once the meds are out of the system, they are fine.

This is only the outcome of the surgery and the anesthesia. Two hours is not nearly enough time to recover. Give it about 24 hours and she will be back to normal.

You body reacts differently to medications . Sometimes strong medications can cause gidiness and Vomiting .
Isnt she at hospital ? Report it to the Doc

Drugs affect each person differently. Don't worry about it unless it lasts for more than about two days.
