2=1? Is it Possible???

Assume that a = b.

Because a = b, one can also assume that a^2 = ab.

Now we can see that following is possible: a^2 – b^2 = ab – b^2.

Now factor both sides: (a – b)(a + b) = b(a – b).

Now we can divide both sides by (a – b):

[(a – b)(a + b)]/(a - b) = [b(a – b)]/(a - b)

This cancels out the (a – b)’s in the problem, we are now left with:

a + b = b.

Earlier we defined a = b so now we can substitute a for b:

b + b = b which can also be written: 2b = b.

Now we divide both sides by b:

2b/b = b/b

Now all the b’s cancel leaving 2(1) = 1 which an also be written:

2 = 1

I started Monday night and I will be attending every Monday night from 6pm-9pm. This will last untill end of May. I was told that this study of the book of Romans is life changing. Are there experience Christians that know this wonderful book in the bible and can tell me what I can expect to learn and get from the study. People tell me, I will get closer to God. Do men ever put the effort into flirting with no intention of it leading anywhere? Here is an example that just happened to me today at work: I walk up to my supervisor and request a brief meeting. He looks at me, smiles and says, "Anything for you" as he holds the door open for me and we walk to his office. In his office I comment that I have a lot of work going on. This is just small talk to me and he comments that's because you can handle it. So I say, "Well, that's what they tell me but we'll see." I was not flirting with this statement. Then he says with a BIG smile, "OH, you can handle it, huh? Really? That's what they tell you?" about three times. This is an obvious flirting gesture and I play along, replying, "Yes, I can handle anything." Ok, so these type of statements happen at least twice a week and then other times he'll see me and act serious. Is this a game men play with just anyone? Is he working up to something? Is he attracted to me? I am to him!!!

My boss talks bad about outher people, makes sure everyone knows when she's mad except the person she's mad at, and worst of all gives grief about others taking time off (for a 90th birthday no less) but she can come in late, leave early, run errands etc. I can't tell her boss because he is wrapped around her finger. How do people like this become in charge and will this behavior eventually lead to her demise?

I found out I have colesterol. I have been trying to eat foodsvery low in fats and saturated fats. I wanted to know if granulated white sugar contains fat? I am supposed to be on a low fat diet. Does anyone have any ideas what kinds of food I should eat? I know some but I am looking to buy single dinners in the frozen section without alot of fat. I still have to cook for my family so I want something easy where I don't hae to cook twice..lol please help me if you can .
