When it comes to kids, I believe the old saying is true about them mimicking us. So if we show others kindness, patience, tolerance, etc, they are more opt to behave the same way. This applies to both bad behaviors and good behaviors.

behave as though someone is always watching you. ask yourself if the behavior thoughts and descisions are something you would want someone else to copy and make your desicions based on that.
