What I am really interested in is handling, driving experience, affordability (around the $15,000 price range or less). I would like a newer vehicle if not new. This will be the first new or near new vehicle I've ever purchased. I have read ALOT about how the newer Golf / Rabbit's are created with the driver in mind, the great gas mileage, the fun factor of driving them, the quietness of the ride and the superb handling. These, along with the styling, are the main reasons I'm interested in this type of car. But, I want to buy American (please no Japanese suggestions)! I want a small to mid-size with a sturdy safe feel, good on gas, and basically similar to the Golf or new Rabbit, but American? Any suggestions?

ATTENTION ALL THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL!!!(but i guess there is no prob in dreaming- SIGH)
Imagine that ur celbrating ur b'day in grand style. U can invite ONLY 2 footballers to ur party.Who would u invite and what would u do with them(for example play football, sing etc)during the party.
I KNOW THAT IT IS A SORT OF STUPID QUESTION but any way there is no harm in asking.

My girlfriend and I recently had our baby (Sep. 4) and my son was delivered using the vaccum. She was just starting and pushing fine and the Doctor left then came back 5 minutes later and said he had to perform another delivery soon so he had to use the vacuum with my girl. My son now is having complications with his breathing and had to be transferred to another hospital. Does anyone know if this unnecessary procedure is the cause of my baby's health issues?

I`ve expierimented in making wine out of fruit and sugar and yeast and I`ve noticed sometimes it seems to have a much higher content of alchohol then other times. How can I make this stuff really strong. (like I`m trying to paralyze a moose or something)

I am 8 days late and i have taken a hpt, it was negative. I have been sick at my stomach, boobs are sore to the touch but has a constant soreness also, heartburn like crazy,bloated also... I cant get in with my dr for another week and a half. What else can i do? Could i be prego??

can someone tell me who to turn employers in to that hire illegal immigrants? also motels and slumlords that rent to them? where can i post pictures of illegals standing around waiting for someone to give them a day job? "pics of work trucks with the names of the companies that hire them" this goes on daily where i live. the local Mayor and police dept. look the other way. i know they drive by them standing there. i have to drive 80 miles to work because the illegals work so cheap that the employers will not pay a decent wage to anyone that isnt. the reason that they can work so cheap is because there are 13 families living in the same house and splitting the cost. they dont have any other expenses. no insurance (health, auto, homeowners). they are a burdon on the people that work to pay for there free health care and free school lunches. among other things. we have got to stand up and be heard in the government. if your in texas vote for someone that cares before its to late. I have just bought a 2 year old car and notice when I drive it that there is a knocking coming from the rear. I have emptied the car totally so know that it is nothing rolling around. The knocking seems to be worse when travelling slowly and going round corners. My Dad seems to think it is the shock absorbers but does anyone else have any idea. Should I take it back to the garage and get them to check it out? I find the noise really annoying!
