If I were to walk into a hospital anywhere in the world- and tell them Ive been addicted to pain killers for the last 2 years- 30 plus a day- will they help me even if I have no money? This is my first day trying this on my own and Im sweating-crying-twitching-chills, and I feel like Im totally dying! Cannot sit still and cannot sleep or eat! Someone please help me

Im a junior and well the reasons i hate public schools in San Diego are because they give you 3 required classes and 3 bs elective classes... i hate that! it makes me mad, i just want to go to school to meet requirments... not electives?? those are pointless and wasted hours in my life. would home school be better because they give you the classes you need to graduate in a packets and you only go to school once a week WHAT TYPE OF SCHOOL WOULD BE BEST FOR ME????

I read "Chemistry for Dummies" for fun.

I purposely look for new age or meditation type music.

I study Eastern religion for fun.

I have read the phone book before.

I like theatre, art museums, meditation/philosophy groups, listening to jazz and orchestra bands, and film making.

I was an actor in my high school and college plays, and played in the band from 4th grade until I graduated high school.

I have an Albert Einstein quote on my keychain.

I have a rubix cube.

I have a poster of the periodic table in my bedroom.

I know words like "sternocleidomastoid", "trapezius" "sphygmomanometer" among others

I was in gifted classes, National Honor Society, all that other scholastic crap.

I hate night clubs because of the noise and smoke.

I prefer to read about something new in a book or online than go out with my friends.

I'm not trying to brag on myself or anything, but I don't see me as a nerd. Am I in denial?

I am 23 years old I work in retail full time as a manager.
According to my husband the hours that I work are odd.
I am wondering what people in my age group work. Or if you are not in my age group what times did you work @ my age.

My shift varies week from week. The shifts I normally work is 9-5:30 or 1:30-10.

In days of old, this young sailor was about to sign up for a 6-month trip on a sailing ship. He asked the captain about sex life, since there would be no women on the ship.

"Don' ye worry about it, lad. We'll make sure your needs are taken care of."

After about 2 weeks at sea, the lad had a bone that wouldn't go away, so he went to ask the captain how to take care of it.

"Aye, lad, 'ere's ya key. Go open up the door under the ladder. In there you'll find a barrel, take the bung out of the hole and insert your manhood. I think you'll find this arrangement satisfactory."

The lad went down, opened the door, removed the bung, inserted his manhood and got his rocks off in record time. In fact, it was SO good he asked for the key the next five nights in a row.

and plus shes going to have his last name b.c. he was begging me and its Lacovara...
and he said b4 it didnt matter what name i picked as long she has his last name...i honestly dont know what to do i mean he's barely around b.c. he has soccer..so he can get into a good collage...and get a good job to help me and our baby..i dont know what to do any advice on how to talk through to this guy..i mean..its hard as it is being pregnant and hearing my family talk bad about him thinking he keeps making up storys so he doesnt have to come over or hangout.idk what to do about that i mean they dont understand what he's trying to do..and it sucks to i havent seen him in weeks.b.c. he's always busy.so any advice?

I look at these things posted on the Mythology & Folklore catagory and think, what in the world is this crap? Do you really believe in these things or are you high? Seriously, someone exlpain to me, a conservative Christian, what this stuff means to you. Is it a religion? Is it an obsession like from Star Wars or Harry Potter? ( I know some of you live for them too) Some of it I understand but some of it looks like gibberish to me. I'm not willing to explore Satanism, Wicca, pagan beliefs or any cults because I've been there and my faith calls those things lies. Other than that, tell me what you're thinking.

I met this girl some time ago and ever since its been bumps in the road with us, the funny thing is that what we feel for each other is so strong that i can't imagine not being with her. We've broken up twice, and currently talk to each other once in a blue moon and see each other even less. I guess the distance has been because of me because i just feel that apart from the feelings we're not meant to be, there always seems to be something separating us. She says that she doesn't want to hurt me by being with me, and that she thinks that we should just be friends, but i can't think of her as just a "friend" it's impossible. I'm always trying to talk to her about us but she hates confrontations of that sort, she's not very open about herself. Please help, i think the best thing is to completely ignore her and not to talk to her or see her again, sometimes that's the best way to make the heart forget. yes or no? Or should i just try to be friends ? please help.

My father says that he could remember when the rattail hairstyle was first starting to get real popular in the 1980's and the first boy he seen with a rattail was at a high school football game around late 1982 and the kid was about 10 years old and it was halfway down his back. He says he asked the boy when he got his haircut and where. The boy said right after the school year started and his barber did it for him. The boy said all his hair was already that long when he got it cut and he had that long strip of hair down his back.
I was just woundering because I have had my rattail that has been growing since I was a real small boy about 8 or 9 years now. The rattail hairstyle is really cool es[ecally if you let it keep growing longer down your back.

I would just like to hear how your children are doing.... Scholars? Athletes? Adventurers? Slackers? I'm curious about results. I always hear the pros and cons breast feeding vs. bottle, but never any results.

I am wondering if anything to worry about in bottle feeding our child after only 3 months of breastfeeding. Please I am not really interested in politics, just curious if the children are doing good, are they smart? Leaders? Followers? Brats? Spoiled? Anything. Mostly looking for parents whose children are at least 6 and up, longer term results.

I'm quite sure the answers lie in the parenting and how you educate your children, but I have this anxiety to find out if any indifference or clues. Does this make sense?
