Hmmm ok...
I wouldn't bother with the dvd's, seeing as I can't bring a dvd player but I'd use them the reflect the sunlight to signal a passing ship or plane.
I'd bring a dog as a pet to hunt.
A person? Hmmm...either someone smart enough to get me off the island or bouyant enough to use as a raft.
Books...hmmmm...
1. How to survive on an island.
2. How to signal for help with only dvd's.
3. 50 ways to prepare a tasty meal of dog when it won't hunt.
