I have been "toying" with the idea of coming out at work. I work in a "very" rough / tough contractor world, for the most part "gays" are NOT accepted very well in this environment. Not to mention I work off of commision sales, I'm "assuming" that it "could" afffect my wallet if things don't go very well. I wouldn't even consider it but I have the utmost respect for my coworkers and I'm tired of having to "cover my tracks", "tell white lies" about the "real" me...Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

In general, girls tend to love me. Girls I've dated are always crazy about me at first, then one day they start acting weird and then finally decide they don't want to date anymore (it's almost like the spark dies or something). We never argued, and were always having fun. This happens not only with ex's but with other girls too (one day they don't really call anymore - like they've lost interest). Someone did call me clingy once, but I try not to act needy or anything like that, and I never rush things. I must be doing something wrong but I don't know what it is. What is my problem?? And what can I do to stop doing it?

As I mentioned in an earlier question. My hubby and I are thinking of adopting his friends 4 mo old puppy, which is a chihuahua/rat terrier mix. We currently live in a 2 bdrm apt, it's about 880 sq ft. and we are on the 3rd floor. It is located somewhat in the country, and is all backroads, unless you want to venture a lil bit onto the main hwy. So there are plenty of small roads to walk the dog on, but while we are at work, the dog would be in the apt. Is this bad for the dog? I don't want him getting depressed...but I do think that even though he'd be in the house for 9 hrs a day by himself, he'd be happier than what he is now, stuck in someone's house all day by himself, then when ppl come home, they don't even pay attention to him because they don't like him. We are planning on picking him up in 2 wks so I need to now how to make his transition the best it can be.

My son and I have a loving relationship, but he takes advantage of my good nature. He "forgets" to do what I ask - runs around all the time - and doesn't contribute to our household (either monetarily or with chores). I don't mind the money part...but it is annoying to have to beg for him to help me out. I made a chore list for him and his 15 year old brother and he only follows the part he wants to. I want to help him out by paying for the first year of his community college and letting him drive the extra car...but he is so lazy about everything that I am resentful about doing these things for him now. I threatened to kick him out tonight and actually meant it. I am sad and unsure what to do next. I am a young mom - 36 - so any advice from older parents who have successfully raised a productive member of society is welcomed! I love my son very much and care deeply for him and his future, but cannot go on like this much longer before we split forever. :o(

We pray to saints for intercession of prayers to God. Just as you may ask your neighbor to pray for you. You are not worshipping your neighbor you just want to have another praying with you. We hope the saints will place our petitions at the foot of the Lord. Same with the statues. People so often think we are bowing or worshipping the statues. That is not true. Just as you may have a picture of your family on your wall. You aren't worshipping the picture!! It's a reminder of how you feel about them. When I see a statue of a saint, it's a gentle reminder to pray.

Lately, we havent been talking a lot. We use to talk all the time, almost 24/7 and all of a sudden it feels like he replaced me with some other girl. They are always talking the way me and him use to talk and it hurts. I would tell my friend about how i feel but he isn't the type..If you're mad at him, he's mad at you until YOU apologize, it's never him to apologize. That also hurts a lot. I just want to forget about him, but everything reminds me of him. It probably sounds like a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, but we were just really close friends. The new person he's been talking to, i had never liked and he knew that. I was okay with him talking to her when he still talked to me but now he doesn't even talk to me so i feel so replaced...things he use to tell me, like he'd shoot someone if they ever messed with me, really hurts now because I miss him and the way things use to be and i'm not sure if he still feels like that. How do you get over someone you were so close to? :(
